Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage is based on the ancient healing system called Ayurveda.

Indian head massage relaxes connective tissue, and aids in the elimination of accumulated toxins and waste products, helps increase joint mobility and flexibility in the neck and shoulders, improves blood circulation and lymphatic flow. It is particularly great for reducing the effects of stress and tension.

The treatment is done while seated and can take between 20 and 45 minutes massaging the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face and helps ease stress issues and relieve muscle tension, allowing for relaxation, clarity and focus.

Indian Head Massage can:

  • help you to feel relaxed and recharged
  • help you to experience better sleep
  • leave you feeling more focused and clear
  • release tension headaches
  • relieve muscular aches and pains
  • generally promote good health and wellbeing and a feeling of bliss

Indian Head Massage can be  done without oil through light clothing.  Incorporating oils into the treatment can help soften the skin and deeply condition the hair.

Regular Indian Head Massage can help by stimulating the blood flow to the scalp and hair and it releases tension and promotes relaxation.
